Native English speakers, can you please help me with these issues?

Is this sentence correct:

"I TAKE PLEASURE from reading and writing."

(Does it make sense to say: "I take pleasure from...")

    In the British style, you would put a comma before the "and," but other than that, it it is fine.

    Some might use that form. Certainly more would use 'I take pleasure in reading....'
