After 1945 Man were there in Russia, but men were in less ratio as compared to Women. Some women in Russia lived their life single and some married other nationality and migrated to European, Asian countries where they had both (+ and -) in their life.
The women in Russia succeed in facing the crises efficiently without any complaint.
I salute the women of Russia for their positivity in life.

The same as what happened to single women in the other countries affected by a shortage of potential husbands after war: they remained single and lived their lives.

Many women fought in the Red Army during WW2 as well, especially at Stalingrad when the Russians needed as many troops as possible to defend the city.

Of course there were men left. And please don't forget that there were a lot of women in the Red Army as well as among the partisans harrassing the enemy from the forests.
You should read "The Unwomanly Face of War" by Svetlana Alexievich - a real eye-opener.
