How are prisoners in hospital kept from escaping ?

Supposing a person gets injured while fighting a policeman, he loses an eye and has to go to hospital, while there it is possible that his friends could sneak into his ward and cut off his chains and he can escape, how do hospitals ensure they keep prisoners secured?

Hospital prison wards have locked doors, guards, cuffs, cameras, etc.  Regular hospital rooms with a prisoner in them have guards and cuffs.  Women inmates give birth in shackles.

They are just restrained or watched by guards.

Hospitals are a special world and a last vestige of oldthink.

In hospitals, the world stands still while health professionals work their psychology on the ignorant masses.

They generally have guards, and visitors are not allowed.
