how do all the inner city black people survive without working? most don't work? has always been this way? why?

talking about the black people that saw lately doing the BLM protests, etc, or during the L.A. riots of 1992

Update:

WHICH PERCENTAGE DO NOT WORK PROBABLY? THOSE THAT DO, WHERE DO THEY WORK?

Update 2:

-----------------> NOT SAYING THEY ARE LAZY AND DONT WANT TO WORK....SAYING THAT MANY CANNOT FIND JOBS

Most do work, but subsidized housing, welfare, food pantires, etc. do just fine, and no taxation for drug profits.

Of course most people work, unless they are retired, disabled, or are single parents raising kids, and many of them work, too. Welfare is very very hard to get and pays terribly. But, it's hard for poor people. Imagine if you had tk take 2 busses to get to your low-paying job, and then come home to make dinner for your family. It's not easy, and many also take college or similar classes in pursuit of better jobs. Most people in bad areas are good people. Most don't use drugs or commit crimes.
