What's a bigger sign that an American hates America..?

If the American points out problems with the country that needs improving, or, that they say everything is good with America and nothing needs improving?

Neither is a sign that someone hates America.

The first is a realist who isn't afraid to see the truth and knows there is always room for improvement. It doesn't make them a bad person to see this, they just believe that America has potential to always become greater than it is. A successful nation continues to progress, it shouldn't become stagnate. A nation can be great, but greater is always possible and should be striven for.

The second person just takes an effortless approach of wanting to believe the nation is perfect and infallible, which is unrealistic. This person probably doesn't hate America either, but they don't live in reality and they don't embrace that America has any potential to be any better than what it is now. Which is unfortunate, because there are always going to be problems and this person doesn't care if they aren't addressed so long as those problems aren't theirs personally.

Leftists claim that this country is irredeemably broken and must be ripped out at the roots.

That's a far cry from suggesting there are a few issues here and there that warrant concern.

When a certain group insists on pointing to a non-existent problem and engages in violence (even ARSON FFS) in an attempt to 'erase' said non-existent problem.

Support Marxists and Islamists. Then support those who hate the USA. That is an American who hates America.

To give an example, I write only the initials:

    Democratic Party

"Points out problems with the country that need improving"?

You mean like constantly screeching that our country was founded on and continues to be immersed in "systemic racism" and that the only way to fix these (apparent) issues is to knock it all down and start over?

    Is that what you mean?

your examples are absolutes that don't often exist in the real world....let's look at the different stances regarding violence "against" a certain community vs. violence "within" that same community for example....if one shows immediate concern for one but dismisses the other, can you really say the intent is to make things better for that community?  same goes for the nation as a whole...

so instead, let's look at what people mean when they say "America"... consider our symbols, our institutions and our history.... does anybody you know aim hate at those?

A strong sign that an American hates America when that American uses intimidation, propaganda, violence and force in the name of improving America.
