Does being 1/8 Another race count as mixed race?

Meaning if a person has a great grandparent of another race, do they get to include it as part of their identity?

Mixed race is based on overall racial appearance. It isn’t always based on how much a person is mixed with some race. If the person look conventional race or nearly race in racial appearance and deny being somely mixed with lesser amount of different race, people would usually consider him or her the most race. If the person acknowledge having recent ancestors of different race or actually look somely mixed with different race in certain ways, people would specifically consider him or her mixed race or other race. The person shouldn’t identify as mixed race if he or she look one race or racial passing. If person look mostly mixed with race or somely mixed with different race, he or she should acknowledge other race as part of his or her racial identity.
