Fedex and apple?

I am getting my phone repaired. Apple sent a box to put my phone in then send back. I put my phone in the box (apple was supposed to put tape in the box for the person to tape box shut but there was no tape). The fedex driver said he’d tape the box, I didn’t see if he did.

I told my mom and she said I was supposed to get a receipt saying I sent the box back with my phone in it. Does fedex give a receipt when you send a package back?

Apple sent a box to me to put my phone in then I’m supposed to send it back with my phone in the box, apple repairs it then sends it back to me.

Could I check to see the tracking on where the package is now now that its on its way back?

You should have taped it yourself.

They usually give a receipt for a package of you ask for one.

And if you have the Fedex tracking number, you will be able to track it.

I am just curious - why could you not put some tape on the box?

I've never had a company send me tape to tape the box shut.

    - I've done TONS of return shipping including electronics.

But if the FedEx guy said he would do it, that was nice of him.

If you have the tracking number, you can track it.

Otherwise, you will have to wait until Apple receives it to see the status of the repair.
