As often as he can.  But not even he can stop the inexorable workings of eternal laws for our comfort and convenience.

Yes, infinite mercy, ready to forgive any human being for any sins they have ever committed, once they repent of those sins, turn to Him and ask His forgiveness.

So we hope and so we believe.

According to the bible it seems to depend.

That flood was not merciful, his treatment of adam and eve was not merciful, the wars he backed were not merciful.

It depends on your deeds. Source revelation. All deeds are forgiven except the deed of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and speaking against Him. Source Jesus Christ. God does throw a curve ball in there to see if you believe His Holy Spirit even when you still believe in Jesus coming in the flesh being the Word and God. Think about it.

    But of course

Psalm 145:8 KJV — The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

1 Chronicles 16:34 KJV — O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; and his mercy endureth for ever.

Watch Last Train To Auschwitz and then ask again.

The people who committed these crimes and murders were representing the so called "god".
