Strong alcohol like vodka or rum can kill the virus on your skin or on the counter top surfaces. But once it gets into your body (lungs etc), it spreads all over. So it can’t be killed by drinking.

You would need a blood alcohol concentration of 0.70,  the problem is a BAC of 0.30 will kill you..

While I always heartily recommend the consumption of copious amounts of alcohol, it won't prevent you from getting infected with COVID-19, nor will it reduce the adverse health effects.
