Why can't I sleep in the dark? (No fear)?
For some reason when I try to sleep in the dark I find myself feeling awake/rested faster than I can fall asleep, and I have to turn the lights on/do physical activities to get tired again. I'm not afraid or anxious and have tried to train myself out of it, but usually give in and turn on a light or end up awake until dawn. Even dead tired, if I lay in the dark for 15-20 minutes I'll find myself feeling as if I've had a power nap, even if I meditate or take sleeping meds. Why?
