Do most celebrities own expensive high-end fashions?

Are there celebrities who are happy with shopping at your basic places such as Target, JCPenney, Kohl's etc?

Do celebrities only request a personal designer to create a special piece when there is a special event, or can the singer/actor  be filmed in something from the thrift store and still look great?

If a celebrity must do a minimal task such as go out to empty trash, go to a nearby gas station to buy cigarettes, or even go to the grocery store, are they very particular about their hair makeup and clothing? Or do they feel comfortable to leave the house and go out in public with a very basic appearance?

They don't "own" any of these things--they are given them to wear as advertising. Yes people, celebrities do not pay for their expensive clothes, if they're wearing them to an Event or Award show.

It's also a marketing tool of the designer,  most people want to copy the way celebrities dress.

Sometimes they are given such things because the companies hope they will be photographed using their stuff. They feel it's odd that nobody gave them anything when they were not known but it isn't really, they are using them to advertise. Really I don't think they act differently to when they were not rich, I wouldn't and would still buy the same things as now.
