A band name can make sense or be as senseless as you want. They'll be lovers and haters for no matter WHAT you name your band.

The only person/people who have to like it, is the band itself.

If you want people to envision a giant, crazy swarm of insects - than your name has succeeded.

If you want to imply something with more angst than insects, you could use a synonym for 'swarm', like 'army',  'crush' or 'crowd' (Lawless Army, Lawless Crush, Lawless Crowd).

But, if the swarm means/represents something for your band or even if YOU just like the sound of it - than the name you pick only has to make you guys happy.

"You can please some of the people all of the time; you can please all of the people some of the time; but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.

Taking a break (maybe permanent?) from a lame Netflix movie titled 'The Last Days of American Crime', then I saw your question. It's meant to be.
