Do pro fighters need to pay for a manager?

Do they simply ask the manager to come over in exchange of some of their prize money or do they just simply pay the manager with what they've got.

If they do pay, how much are they?

Pro fighters pay for everything. Managers, promoters, title shots, ranking positions etc boxing is the most corrupt sport on the planet

Yes if they want one they have to negotiate the terms with the manager directly.  Usually they agree that the manager will take a percentage of the fighter's purse, it could be anything from 10-25%, that's the normal range, 25% is on the higher end but the best managers can command it, sometimes the manager is also the promoter (outside of the US) and so then both fees would be negotiated as one percentage.

They pay their managers out of their pocket. I don't know how much they pay them. It depends on how much the manager is asking for and how much the athlete is willing.
