Would suggest, in the general sense, Shah Jahan, Chandragupta Maurya, Chananda, and Akbar the Great.  There is also a lineage, of Babaji and His sister Mataji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Sri Yukteswar, and Paramhansa Yogananda, which imo is an important part of the spiritual leadership of Bharatiya, or modern India.

At the moment it's King Fred the Awesome, Defender of the En-suite Bathrooms and Duke of Big Fat City. He's doing really well. King, eh? Best job in the world.

    Not a philosophy question.

India has no king. It is a member of the Commonwealth of nations, but its head of state is not Queen Elizabeth II.

    GOOGLE IT.
