Why do most Americans prefer Korean cars to German cars?
With most Korean cars is a 5 to 6 year warranty on car, and 100,000 on drive train. German cars are like 3 years 36,000 miles. Parts may be cheaper on Korean cars too.

IMO, the reason is that Korean cars cost less and are cheaper to maintain.

German cars are not as great as they used to be. 40 years ago they were the best cars you could buy, but today they're built to a price, just like American cars. And they're no more dependable or reliable or long-lived than American cars.
Korean cars are not as good as Japanese cars but they're getting better.

Because it’s what they can afford. You might as well ask , why do more people go to Mcdonalds than 5 star Michelin restaurants.

Cost of ownership and dependability...simple as that. There is NO autobahn in the US, though Wyoming has 85 mph on some freeways and Utah and Texas have 80.

Korean cars cost less to purchase, less to maintain and are more reliable.
Basically, the total cost of ownership is less for a Korean car than a German one.

Because European vehicles are very expensive to maintain and their parts are easily twice as much as Asian made vehicles.
