Is Albuquerque a good place to retire in?
Any information is appreciated.

Yes, it is. There's a lot to see and do and has a relatively good cost of living. However, the crime rate is relatively high.

Good climate, relatively low cost of living but with our polarized politics, you need to know that the state leans Democratic. I'm retired in Florida in a neighborhood that is really conservative. I'm an independent progressive so I don't much talk politics with my neighbors, and certainly would not put a political sign in my front yard. I have a good relationship with most of the people in my neighborhood, but it is a bit of a constraint.

It's not bad. Not great but not bad.
