There are two way to access ancestry. It is a site that you can access free and received limited information or you can pay a fee and have access to the entire site.  Start with Ancestry.com and then decide which type of site you want.  Family Search.com is a FREE site, but if you have no knowledge of how to do Genealogical research it can be confusing.

The main thing is to NOT change the entries that others have made and if you contact other people be polite.

    That's not a question.

If you want to subscribe to a website and have the funds to do so - go ahead.

What are you waiting for?  A written invitation?
