Did George S. Patton really say this: "WE DEFEATED THE WRONG ENEMY!" Now the enemy is destroying us from within?

Update:

when, to who , why he said this? why never hear about it?

Patton did say that we defeated the wrong enemy. He was referring to the looming threat to the west that the Soviets posed. He thought we should just fight them then and get it over with.

He never said the second part. Patton died in a car accident in 1945, not enough time to get to that point of the communist hysteria which gripped America thereafter.
