Is it difficult to replaced a popped string on an acoustic guitar?

It's very easy plus there are tons of good YouTube videos to help you. By the way, music stores can sell you a single replacement string so you don't need to buy a whole set. Make sure you have a good clip-on tuner clipped to the headstock before you start bringing the string up to proper tension.

A broken string? No, it's not difficult at all, assuming the person has some common sense and knows what they're doing.

Not difficult at all.

Not at all. If you have a guitar, you should learn to do it yourself.
If you have the cash, once one breaks, replace the whole lot. That way, you get a more uniformed sound from all the strings. If you really play your guitar a lot, you'll know even before a strings pops. There's a tell-tale twang in it.
