It would mean transcending normal consciousness and finding a world higher than your usual boundaries of thinking, feeling, seeing, being. Once this happens you will have transcended your former self and you grow into a stronger, more aware, more capable being.

Go beyond.  My guru said that I should contemplate the bellybutton.  Then he said, no, you idiot, your own bellybutton.

Nothing in Christianity is transcendental except maybe the love of God for his human children.  God is not transcendental, meaning that he is not "wholly other," or completely beyond our understanding.

To transcend is to go beyond.  For example, God is supreme and He transcends above all human limitations.  Transcendental means it's hidden or hard to understand because it's mystical or supernatural

    Don't say trans.

    You'll summon the GHOST.

Transcendental means relating to a spiritual or nonphysical realm. Some people live almost exclusively in the world of physical senses, proofs and evidences, and two-dimensional thinking. Many others are able to "transcend" the purely physical to a more spiritual existence of reality, which is impossible to experience with the body.
