Is it possible for your throat to bother you for 2 months even though it's not throat cancer?

There are lots of disorders that can cause throat soreness that aren't cancer.

You really need to go see a doctor if you're concerned about this.

A really bad case of strep throat, perhaps. I've had it for over three weeks, and that's WITH medication and not being immune-compromised.
Immuno-compromised and not being able to get medication (or in the rare case, not bothering to get any kind of treatment for the symptoms), I can see it possibly lasting two months.
Either way, a visit to a doctor would be advised.
