Do I need to register a junk car? ?

I am getting this junked car and selling it to a junk yard. Do I need to register the junked car to give it to a junk yard dealer. I have a bill of sale from the owner and the pink slip.

Find out the rules for your state or just call a junkyard.  In many cases, transferring the title in your name to junk a vehicle is not required provided there is a signed title without a lien and a bill of sale.
