Does bisexual make you gay?

My relatives are saying it make you gay but you’re romantic attracted to both genders.

It's literally not gay. Not straight, but not gay either.

That said, heteronormativity demands that anything not "straight" and which doesn't conform to "expected" gender conventions is treated as "gay", because anything "not straight" is necessarily "gay".

    Bisexual is not gay.

    Bisexual is not straight.

    Bisexual is bisexual.

Some bisexual people have a same-sex preference and say they are "more gay than straight", and some have an opposite-sex preference and say they are "more straight than gay", but they are all still bi.

In order to actually BE bisexual, you must sexually respond to both boys and girls.  Not "romantically" respond - SEXUALLY respond.

You're probably too young to have sexually responded to anything.  Don't will, eventually.  Then this will all become clear to you.  Meanwhile, you can have romantic feelings and fantasies about boys or girls all you want - without it having anything at all to do with whether you'll actually discover one day that you want to have sex with either a boy or a girl.  These are two different and separate things.

And don't worry about what your relatives say - they don't know what they're talking about.
