    a.  if "the trip" means one-way  ////  50 X 22=  1100 miles

       If the trip means ROUND TRIP ////  1100/2 = 550 miles

    b.  multiply miles by 1.609  ==  kilometers

    c.  one way trip X 2

    d.  answer frm 'c' / 100  X 6.3

    a) 55 mph x 22 hours = 1,210 miles

    b) 1210 miles x 1.609 = 1946.89 km

    c) 1946.89 km one way x 2 = 3893.78 km round trip

    d) 3893.78 km x (6.3L/100km) = 245.308 Liters of gas (which is roughly 64 gallons of gas so reasonable)
