Why is my dog bloated?

We leave for 3 hours, get back home, and my dog's belly is bloated. She didn't look like that this morning. anyone have any ideas/tips/advice on what's going on?

If it is bloat you may have only hours to get her some help.  VET emergency!

If you don't take your dog to the vet, you could end up with either a very expensive emergency bill, or a deceased dog. There are so many reasons a dog can become bloated or have gastric distress, but the main theme is this is not normal. The dog may have eaten something that has caused a lot of gas. The dog may have an intestinal blockage/impaction; the dog could have what is called "bloat" or torsion and this can kill a dog in a very short time.

Take the dog to the vet and unless the dog is feeling better, do this much sooner than later. We lost a dog to torsion and she didn't even show signs of bloating. She was uncomfortable, but not excessively so until it was too late.
