How come people can't bear to be around happy, joyful people?

I also noticed that angry, moody and depressed people seem to be taken more seriously than happy, goofy and joyful people.

Could be a number of reasons.

I always wondered this when I was always bubbly.

Some ppl are only turned on by violence and misery. Or bubbly ppl tend to be oblivious of real life and always in the way. Some may even be jealous or prefer to be in a moody state.

I've been annoyed with bubbly ppl who were in denial they did anything wrong to me. Either the tried to challenge me or they tried to normalize perversion.

Bottom line being: You may be oblivious you're doing something wrong or skys the limit on reasons.

    I can.

    I don't know what you're talking about.

    For others maybe it's envy.

Bubbly people get their joy by absorbing it from everyone else.
