What's the British equivalent of the American 'R' movie classification, please?

What would our equivalent be over here in the U.K.? I know it wouldn't be anything below a 'Fifteen', but would it be a 'Fifteen' or an 'Eighteen', please?

It depends. It's basically between being either a 15+ or an 18+. For example kill bill is an 18 in England but Joker (which is also R rated) is a 15. It really depends on the content of the movie and how it can be viewed by the public.

I guess 18 if this infographic is true that says you can’t go to pulp fiction unless you’re 18, but in the US they would let teens go if they’re with a parent.
