My new country is a good choice. True or false?
Because I can always learn to become proficient in French.
Should I become fluent then I can always live in France and be a French citizen.
Otherwise, I would still have fulfilled the (residential) requirement to become a citizen of my new country.
Whichever way, it means I can still leave this country with a view to renouncing my citizenship of this country.
