Why is outgroup favoritism so prevalent in the white race?

In particular among leftist whites who feel the need to vilify whites and prioritize non-whites? Are there any scientific studies into this? It's quite fascinating from a psychological perspective. I would love to study them to understand how their brains work.

It is the people who "think" with emotion rather than objective reasoning.  If you were to poll these people, you will find that they are all leftists who not only use emotion for decision making, but reject objective reasoning.

Some probably feel guilty for what whites have done in the past. They think they are being fair and just and making up for it.  Of course, all races are equally vile. Just pick up a world history book. These whites you speak of are part of the reason systemic racism will always be present in our society. You cannot create equality by vilifying one group while placating another.

Yours is the brain that needs study and find out why those like you still react to such primitive parts of the brain that humans should have evolved beyond at this point and many behave in a way that suggests that we have.

No, caveman, your perspective is very basic and flawed. It's called having a conscious awareness of the fact that whites are not perfect people, don't belong on a pedestal, and that it's wrong to treat other groups as lesser people or in ways that are abusive. Modern human minds are open to embracing the diversity of humankind and what we can all bring to the world together. You primitive minds fear anything that looks different.
