When did 1820's silver Georgian crowns cease to be legal tender?

Never. All pre-decimal silver crowns post-1818 are still officially legal tender at a nominal value of 25p. You would be a fool to spend one, and I'm guessing with today's dumbed-down people, you'd get get a blank stare and a 'Sorry, can't take this," at a Tesco or any other shop. I would happily take it and put my 25p in the till and pocket that crown.
