Am I Guaranteed COVID-19 protection if I am wearing a mask and the other person I am with is?

    Nope.  The masks can reduce the likelihood of transmission, but it's still nonzero.

    Of course not. Any more than wearing a seat belt in a moving car guarantees your survival in a crash.

    But, your odds in both scenarios are far better with masks or seat belts.
