Do push-ups really make you stronger?

I've been doing push-ups everyday other day for three months and even though I have some muscle no I don't feel like I've gotten any stronger. What is wrong?

Figure a way to measure your strength. You need a baseline. For example, lift the heaviest weight you have. Then compare a few months later to see if you can lift more weight.

You have to also eat protein and a little bit of carbs because protein repairs the muscles and carbs give your body energy. Try chloeting.com she has free work out programs that help get people in shape and make them stronger.
