Would Biden have the grapes to push back China as they try to gain total control of shipping routes in the South China sea? Trump has posi-?

tioned two aircraft carrier strike groups headed by the USS Ronald Reagan and the USS Nimitz to the South China Sea to reinforce U.S. presence as China reinforces its own with both navies holding extensive military exercises.

-

China is using the distraction of (surprise!) the coronavirus to move into position and seize control of these crucial shipping lanes.

-

Would Biden have even noticed it was happening? Much less, acted so decisively?

Biden didn't do 1 thing in 44 years of politics, now that his brain if fried he will spend 4 years in the basement if the people are actually stupid enough to elect him.

China has been trying to encroach on the South China Sea for a long time, and the US has been sending naval ships there to push back on it for a long time.

This is not new to Trump. Obama did it too, as did people before him.

The US and Chinese Navies have been rattling sabres at each other for about 2 decades now.

What has it achieved so far?

China continues to gain further control over the South China Sea.

"Trump positions two aircraft carrier strike groups headed by the USS Ronald Reagan and the USS Nimitz to the South China Sea to reinforce U.S. presence ...

... because he does not understand diplomacy".

The US is deeply in debt to China and they could squeeze US balls if they wanted. Neither is a good option and I don't think it'll get resolved until that debt is resolved. Then we can cut them off. That's hardly decisive of Trump, it's delaying the inevitable.

There needs to be a concerted effort to get multinational corporations out of China. It's criminal that it was ever permitted in the first place, with their human rights abuses. We are subsidizing slavery and genocide.

You make a good point -- do we want an idiot in the White House, who acts without any cogent strategy in mind ,or do we want someone who's instinct will be to "accommodate and appease ", if only to please his electorate ?.

I think America has lost its way .
