What do you call a personal servant?

Is that an appropriate term? Some of my business associates were pissed that I have hired a few "personal servants" under my private payroll and they threatened to stop doing business.

What else do I call them?? Why does everyone have to be so sensitive? Atleast I am doing them a favor paying them since all the money earned is passed up the ladder to the captain and the boss, and my "servants" or whatever you'd want to call them are left to do the dirty work

Doubtful you are for real. However, if so, why not try "assistant?"

Wife/husband. Change for applicable spouse. Of course you can substitute that with son/daughter as well - depends on you family dynamics.
