How do you go from being a public school teacher to a homeschool teacher in California?

Where do you get the legal forms to work with a family, protocols, forms in order to make sure the student passes to the next grade (if they should make it)? What about if it will be online? How is this done? Thank you!!

It depends what you were fired from the public schools for.

you need to reconsider. Public school teachers probably make more money than homeschool teachers. Home schooling mums are very strict and demanding.

You may change to another vocation if you cannot withstand the pressures of full time teaching.

I'm pretty sure states have tests you would give a child/student to ensure he or she is meeting grade- or age-level learning. As for going from a public school teacher to a "homeschool teacher," it sounds more like you are looking to become a tutor. When people talk of homeschooling, that is often with their own children, sometimes with tutors to help or teach in place of the parent(s).

A few good friends of mine were homeschooled, two of whom are from California
