    1.

    4K(s) + O₂(g) → 2K₂O(s)

    ====

    2.

    2C₅H₁₀(g) + 15O₂(g) → 10CO₂(g) + 10H₂O(g)

    ====

    3.

    A.

    Moles of O₂ required = (4.5 mol) × (15/10) = 6.75 mol

    B.

    Molar mass of CO₂ = (12.0 + 16.0×2) g/mol = 44.0 g/mol

    C.

    Moles of CO₂ = (1 mol) × (10/2) = 5 mol

    D.

    No. of CO₂ molecules = (5 mol) × (6.02 × 10²³ molecules/mol) = 3.01 × 10²⁴ molecules

    E.

    No. of atoms in CO₂ = (3.01 × 10²⁴ molecules) × (3 atoms/molecule) = 9.03 × 10²⁴ atoms

    ====

    4.

    a.

    Refer to the diagram below.

    b.

    Ea = (32 - 7) kJ/mol = 25 kJ/mol

    c.

    endothermic reaction
