You should be safe IF you take appropriate precautions - wear an "appropriate" mask and stay at least 6 feet apart from everyone. If anyone talks your way, get a face shield and back off another couple of feet. Don't touch your face and wash your hands often.

According to "experts", protesters did not cause spike in COVID-19 cases. This is with most, but not all, wearing masks. So it's safe to go to work if everyone wears a mask.

Do you feel safe. If not then don’t go back.
Can your workplace keep everyone 6 feet apart.
Is everyone required to wear a mask.
Masks and social distancing greatly reduces your chance to catch the coronavirus.
What kind of safety measures are put in place. Where I work, only 2 people in the elevator and they must be on opposite corners so that there’s 6 feet between us. It’s constantly opening and closing to allow ventilation. There are hand sanitizers when we enter the building and where there are doors where it’s used by many people. If it’s possible, there are 1 way traffic.
