Was Rachael carson  who wrote silent spring and got DDT banned, causing 50 million african deaths due to malaria a democrat?

How easy is it to believe propaganda when you refuse to investigate.

She didn't call for a ban, and said that it's use for other purposes should be reduced in part so that it would remain available for malaria prevention.  The ban did not occur until after she died and was no longer around to oppose it.

Yeah, this is a misguided smear.  I have no idea of Carson's partisan affiliation, if any, but she never called for the banning of DDT, just its restriction.  DDT was banned for use in the United States in 1972 but remained available for use in other parts of the world subject to local regulations until the Stockholm convention of 2004.  Furthermore, the idea that the move away from DDT usage caused massive loss of life is highly controversial at best, especially because there are other, far less toxic, insecticides.

She was non-partisan, but you should read of how dangers DDT really was before making it something political.
