... by delaying ruling over Trump's income tax returns till after November's election?

    It doesn't matter. Even if the Supreme Court were to decide this week that Trump had to release his tax returns, Trump still wouldn’t do it. He’s a lawless crook. His zombie-like supporters would still support him. 

    Trump has the Attorney General of the United States acting as his personal attorney, at taxpayer expense. Barr would defend Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns and challenge enforcement of the Supreme Court’s ruling. 

     Donald Trump is absolutely determined not to have the public see those tax returns. Trump believes that he is above the law and acts accordingly.
