Question for europeans, do you all really dont use ice for any drinks ? ?

So I heard over there , you dont use that for even soda and alcoholic drinks?

    No, that's not true, but overall you'll get less ice in the glass than in the US where most places seem to pack the glass with ice before filling it.  It's just a preference.  In northern Europe for sure you'll never get ice in your beer unless it's some sort of gimmick and even then they'll ask first just to be sure that you're okay with it.  However it's not served warm like in the jokes.  It's served at the temperature of a traditional stone cellar which is quite chilly.

    Well, I use ice in my soft drinks and in wine spritzers too, I'm in the UK.
