I did Jiu Jitsu for 6 months, is it worth putting that on my college application?

Well if you wish to amuse the College application department.

    Then go ahead.

Anything under 2 years not worth noting. And that would be it unless you earned some achievement or award.

As others mention show lack of commitment. And the "Only did so I can..." Looks also like doing it for "points" which even at 6 months is still worth ZERO(0) points.

If you wanted to do something of that nature you have to plan years ahead. That is how people get into Harvard,Princeton or Universities of choice and usually with scholarships or some accommodations taking care of or at reduced rates.

    Day late; Dollar short.

    No, unless you competed!

Nope. Not unless you want to tell the college that you don't stick with things you start; i.e. lacking commitment..
