Can I fry my pork chop using self rising corn meal mix? ?

Why not just fry it in a tiny bit of oil, or if you have a non-stick frying pan, just add salt and pepper and dry fry it.

To give it a crispy coating? yes, why not?

You can, but i would rather use a seasoned bread crumb mix.

Apparently you can since this recipe suggest it as one of the ingredients. https://www.tasteofthesouthmagazine.com/southern-f...

The best pork chop recipe. Put 1/2 cup flour in a dish. Coat the pork chops in flour then brown in a little oil in a skillet. Then dump the leftover flour, the pork chops and one can of chicken broth into a crock pot. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Stir the gravy and serve over the top.

No, you will need a heat source, pan and some oil. Dusting the chop with the mix will be fine though.
