Is it bad to be on antidepressants the rest of your life?

    I would talk about this with the doctor. A problem with these drugs is that they can work very well for a long time and then suddenly stop working. You should be prepared for that possibility and discuss your options with your doctor or therapist. 

    Also, consider that there's a variety of things that can enhance the effects of your treatment.
