When headlines give too much sympathy to emotional distress about something mean someone said (especially of famous leader figures like Andy Murray’s mum and coach), does part of the problem lie in the fact that anyone can make claims to emotional distress but they can’t be disproved as either exaggerations or outright lies?
Ps philosophy section because this is fundamentally about an epistemic problem about falsification
