    on screw (unscrew)

Maybe you have aluminum wheels that have been on so long, and maybe through winter roadsalt, that they have corroded onto the hub??

If you don't know how to get them off, then have somebody with tire changing experience do it for you.

the wheel is rusted to the hub. Put one lug nut on a couple of turns Don't snug it up to the rim. Then take a 3 to 5 pound hammer and whack the inside lip of the rim to break it loose from the hub. Check the inside edge of the rim to make sure you're not hitting a wheel weight.

Stuck on with rust, I suspect. If you don't have a mallet or sledgehammer sit down and thump the sidewall hard with your heels.

Tap the wheel around with a rubber mallet.
