Does it cost money to register to vote?

Will the DMV charge me any bullcrap fees? Like, "Oh, you want to register to vote for the future of this country? You must pay the paper fee!". Or are the flat broke allowed to register?

The Constitution specifically prohibits any type of fee or charge for voting.

No, there is no fee or cost to register to vote, or to vote period.  There are laws against that.  Where do you live?  You can register to vote online now- no fee.  If you feel this is wrong, you can notify your county's Board of Elections.   No one should have to pay a fee to register to vote.

No, I think the DMV will ask if you want to become an organ donator.

No.   In the United States, Voter Registration is Free and so is voting.  That is LAW.
