# Transformations, math help please!?

The following function needs to be in the form

g(x)=Af(Bx+H)+K

consider the function g(x)=(5-f(2-x)(4))/3

This is in my transformations section and I understand how to transform a point with this but not how to put it in this function. Any pointers would help, thanks!

Dividing through by 3 we get:

g(x) = (5/3) - (1/3)f[(2 - x)/4]

Inside the function we have (2 - x)/4 = (-x/4 + 1/2)

Hence, g(x) = (5/3) - (1/3)f(-x/4 + 1/2)

Contrasting with the general form we have:

A = -1/3, B = -1/4, H = 1/2 and K = 5/3
