Do you still have to do your 6 hours of Behind The Wheel Training if you’re 17 1/2? ?

This is for California DMV btw.

17.5 is not 18.  There is no such thing as close enough at the California DMV, they count right to the day.

Age does not make a difference. You can be 32 or 44.  You STILL got to do your 6 hours behind the wheel training.  Where did you get the idea that AGE makes you SMARTER OR MORE CO-ORDINATED?

YES, If you are between 15 and 18 years old, the state of California requires you take at least six hours of in-car driving lessons with a licensed driving instructor at a DMV-approved program, and if you don't get at least 50 hours of behind the wheel practice with a competent driver sitting next to you after that, then you can expect to fail the road test.
