Would Abe Lincoln support the Confederate flag and statues?

🥴 Obviously, he didn't back then.
I think Confederate soldiers and their flag were allowed to be honored out of pity for the South, losing.
But he should have set the record straight in the olden days to purge the South of Far Right bias.
I think it really wasn't a war about race. But more about slavery. They still didn't care for blacks.
Otherwise, segregation wouldn't have happened.
