who is better at wrestling, shawn michaels, chris benoit, bret hart or aj styles?

All in their own way to be honest.
Chris Benoit was the best technical wrestler.
Bret Hart was the best story teller, he could make working a leg look so much more than what it was.
Shawn Michaels was the best entertainer and had the most charisma.
AJ Styles is the most agile, quickest and versatile out of the lot.
Personally I would have to say AJ but all 4 are decent. (No sympathy for Benoit only based on wrestling skill)

Brett Hart. His father Stu trained him in that famous basement. Out all you mention he is the only one who can really go. Real moves. Greco Roman .

Bret hart, Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels, Aj Styles in that order.

Chris Benoit was a woman & child killer. So I will not go into detail about him. He was also having an affair with Victoria behind Nancy Benoit's back. So to hell with him.
Bret Hart: He was more technical & hard hitting.
Michael Hickenbottom: He was more flamboyant & flashy.
Allen Jones: He was more acrobatic and technical at the same time.
I think they're all unique in their own way. But The Hitman and The Heartbreak kid have achieved something that Styles has not. They both slept with Sunny, when she was at her absolute hottest. Which is part of the reason why the Montreal Screwjob happened in the first place.

To put them in order from most talented to least, IMO:
Chris Benoit - Benoit was an incredibly talented technical wrestler who happens to committed horrible acts just before ending his own life.
Bret Hart - If you study Bret, everything he did in the ring seems to have a meaning. A talented wrestler with great precision.
AJ Styles - One of the most talented wrestler in WWE who will become an all time great when he retires.
Shawn Michael - HBK was pretty great but a bit overrated IMO. He's also responsible for influencing all those no sells, superkick wrestlers who think that doing spots matter more than in-ring psychology.
